Painting Ronin Day 21

Well three weeks in so how are you all doing, I as I said yesterday am well on target. Today I got another parcel from the postman, he brought me my latest Warbases order. I was looking for some way to base the cav for our skirmish games (I did not like the just round bases and square would not fit) in Warbase I found their Pill bases and I think these are just what I was looking for, see what you think below
The only other thing I did today was to complete the American Regulars to the point of base and dip.
I have plenty of prep work to do which I am trying to fit in without cutting into too much painting time.
Below are the last lot of figures I sent off to Curt, 12 Scottish Lancers (foundry miniatures)

Thats all for now folks, see you on the morrow

Painting Ronin Day 20

Well we are almost three weeks into the challenge and I am well on target for my Par score. Everyone here is back to work so a little less painting time, I still found time to do a bit more on all things on the painting table, the SWAT got a bit of work on their bags and flak jackets the American regulars got the uniform competed and the next lot of ECW cav have had the horses started.

I have targeted 1000 pts each month so with 771 so far I am looking good for hitting my 1000 this month. I was hoping to eat into my lead pile but with all the extra SYW figures sent by Dad and the Sudan and Afghan stuff I think I have actually increased my lead pile.
I have posted below the last lot of entries I sent to Curt.

Painting Ronin Day 19

A slow day today because as odd as it sounds Monday is my TV catch up day and with two of my fav programs just restarted I was not going to miss it. Hawaii Five-o and NCIS LA were both great and even better for me NCIS S10 starts on Friday. As you can tell dont get out much.
I did spend an hour doing the SWAT uniform and last layer on the American Regulars faces.

I have an order coming from Maverick Models for all my French SYW flags and I have done so much prep I had to place a new order to Warbases. I am only waiting for my Afghans from Old Glory and then I think I have enough to keep me out of trouble.
I also booked a weeks holiday in Norfolk today in February so might have a break from the painting then.....maybe as I did take Prussian Musketeers with me on the same holiday last year. I am sure my wife will not mind,...
not much anyway.

Peace James
