WW2 Air warfare

I have long wanted to get into WW2 Air warfare I like the idea of dog fights and massed bomber formation fighting off fighters. With this in mind when I saw a seller on flea-bay selling over 130 WW2 planes at 1/350th scale I jumped at the offer.
I am waiting for them to arrive in the post when I will work out how to mount them and paint them, next its going to be finding or creating a simple quick play set of rules.

I am still here

Well after completing my 3 year project I had to have a break from painting, I did a few commissions but did not do much for myself for a few months (summer holidays kept me away from the desk too). But I came back to it last month and have returned to a few projects and started a few new ones.
I have taken a few pictures of whats going on, we have a couple of shots of an Arthurian Roman army I am painting for my sisters father in law. A few shots of my Dr Who figures ( a MIB a SWAT and the Dr), the next lot of the FIW figures. And lastly returning to my first fantasy army Dwarves.

Three years work

For the last three years I have been buying and painting 2 SYW armies to give my Dad as his retirement present, the rest of the family chipped in with funds but the painting and basing was all me. The work was all worth it to see Dads reaction to the big reveal today.
