Painting Ronin Day 75

Why I love SYW

I do not think there is any better sight that ranks of tricorn clap troops in bright uniform's. I do find the SYW battlefield to be a great sight.
But why oh why do the french have to wear white leggings :)

I have been painting leggings for two days now and still have one unit of Grenadiers left. At the same time I am doing my entry Ronin and I wanted to try a new horse color so went for a palomino,  I like how it has turned out. My Ronin is going to have a deep red armour with a light color for his underclothes.

I hope to have these three units of SYW french complete tomorrow.
To finish this post I wanted to show you my last entry for the winter Challenge.

Painting Ronin Day 73

Evening Bloggers,
                           I hope I find all you fellow Ronin busy painting those last few units/figures ready to bombard poor Curt at the last minute. I have been getting along well with my final few targets, the Command stands have been based up ready for gravel on them, the same with the cannons. As for the last Infantry I have all the major colors on and just have the leggings, straps and muskets left.
I should get all these done and I also have my Ronin to paint.

Back to the brushes for me hope you all reach your personal targets over these next few weeks.

All work no play

Just a quickpost to let you know I am still painting away, I plan to finish the french SYW army by the end of the challenge. So that means I need to complete
40x Grenadiers
24x Musketeers
12x Light Troops
8x Dragoons
4x Command bases
4x Brigade guns
2x Large canons

Not much then in 18 days :)

I will try and post some WIP but time is in short supply.
