These two guys are Guards for the big mad Scotsman. I have just started on the flesh and hair which as you can see is very orange. I have to make my own flesh tone as I have run out of Dwarf Flesh, I think they look a little on the dark side but I guess Scotland does get some sun so could be a tan (I have had 1 sunny week in the last 5 summer holidays up there).

ECW post dip
As I said yesterday I took more pictures of the ECW shotte after the dip. The first two are straight after dip, the second two are after some over painting, all the figures will be hit with a matt varnish when based and finished which will kill off the last of the shine.
Taking out drying time I have spent about 2 hours on these 6 figures so I feel good return for time spent.
Peace James

New Blog
My Dad and I have fallen back into love with the SYW period and have been using the Black Powder rules to good effect. We want to spend the next year (before Dad becomes a man of leisure) doing some historical research and play tests. The goal is to fine tune the rules to our needs and produce workable army lists for all sides of the conflict.
If you have an interest in the SYW period you might what to keep and eye of the blog as it gets going. and anyone who would like to join our little reach project let me know.
