I was just having a think Today about the wargames that I have played and ended up noting them down see below, these are games I played multiple time, I had a very active club and played many other periods once or twice but these are the ones I stuck with.
15mm Zulu War (house rules)
15mm NWF (house rules)
15mm Ancients (shock of impact, WRG)
15mm Sci-Fi (lazerburn)
28mm Fantasy (WFB 1st-4th Ed)
28mm Sci-fi (Rouge Trader)
1:300 Jet planes (Jet Noise)
28mm Ancients (WAB)
28mm ECW (WECW)
28mm ECW (Black Powder)
28mm SYW (Die Kriegskunst)
28mm SYW (Black Powder)
28mm F&IW (Musket & Tomahawk)
28mm Fantasy (WFB 3rd Ed)
I have painted so many more periods than these, but as I do not game that often these would still be what I consider my periods.
what about the future?:
If you are sticking with me and this blog what will you be seeing in the coming year, well mostly what you see above 28mm SYW, F&IW and WFB but I have a few newer things on the back burner. I have 28mm NWF already bought and paid for waiting paint (will be a skirmish level game) along the same lines I have 28mm Sudan (dam you lot for showing too many nice pictures of those Perry figures, you know who you are) again already bought and paid for. 15mm Pirate figures and ships are sitting in the lead pile and will see some paint this year. I guess my biggest efforts this year and into next is that my Dad and I have finally given in to our urges and started to build up at Zulu war army both Zulus and Brits (you will not be surprised to note we are going to build the column our relative was in).
On the Zulu war diary front you may not have noticed that I have now added the whole diary as an extra page on this blog, you can access it via the TAB at the top under my banner.
