Progress on several fronts

Been a busy few weeks, I lose a fair chunk of painting time now as this year I have taken up playing field hockey for my local club, I used to play as a youth and needed some thing to get my heart pumping again. Its been a good season so far I am slowly getting used to the game (its much changed in the 20 years since I played) and have lost over 1 stone so far.
Any way I have still been making plenty of time for painting, I am working on some Zulu War officers to sell on as well as some Dwarfs for my new army. I am making good progress on the Arthurian British just a few units left now (this unit still needs shields).

A fresh new idea

With the demise of bring and buy at alot of wargames shows, I find I have less of a market to sell my figures. I love doing commissions but a also like to paint some figures just because I love the cast or the era. I paint fast so can never play all the periods that I paint so I am looking for a way to cash in.
So I have recently contacted Colonel Bill who provides just the service I need, they sell painters figures for a commission (just like a bring and buy stall). I think this is going to be a fruitful relationship as I am always casting loving eyes at new figures but thinking " I will never play that era". Now I can buy them, paint them and send them off.
So this blog should become a little more active and if you see some thing you like you may just be able to buy it.

A slight Diversion

Yesterday got no painting done because instead of getting my sleep after work (I am a night worker) I jumped in the car a went of to Wrexham for my daughters graduation.
