WAB GT army pictures

Well I had a great break last week after a poor GT for me. I went to the GT straight from work and it was a very cold day, in fact the start was delayed as some guys were stuck in snow. The venue had no heating and did not warm up till game 3, by which time the cold and leaning over tables had done for my back. Despite getting a good hot bath that evening I was still in too much pain to make it to day 2.
As for the 3 games I did play I was thrashed in all, game 1 and 2 were against Greek phalanx so while I had a re roll of misses on round one I was fighting 2 ranks all the time. The few close victories I did have were over turned by oracle points (both rolled 10). My third game went the same way but against thrusting spears (so 2 ranks always again), this one could have been closer as my noble cav destroyed his top cav unit but then they failed their panic and fled the table.
Over all I enjoyed the games but not the event, i think I will not be going to any more. It did get me to paint up my Celts through so that was a great plus. below are pictures of my army.

Well as you may have noticed I have been off line a lot in the last week, this was because I was spending every spare min painting. And the answer to the question is yes I finished I have pictures below of the army in its travel box's and will take better pictures at the comp in the morning (when I go after my night shift), good job my Dad is coming along as support he may need to wake me up.

10mm Sudan SteamBoat WIP

I picked up this great Steamboat to go with my Sudan Brits from Pendraken, it took a little cleaning but nothing too much. I have added my own rails around the boat, so it now complies with all Elf & Safety laws.
I will be doing most of the painting with the Airbrush so watch this space.

ECW Irish brigade

In between painting Celts, i have had chance to finish my Dads Irish Brigade. I painted these to match a colour scheme he already has so not your typical colours. I have some ECW dragoons and a large Scots covenanters unit to do also.
Painted from black undercoat (already based) and AP dip used, flag to be added when I can find it.

WAB GT 19 days left

Well as it says on the tin 19 days left till the GT so how am I doing well I have fully finished 80 warriors and 23 javelins, I have 20 warriors to finish bases and 20 undercoated. I have 26 cav based awaiting undercoat and the last 80 warriors still to stick together. I am 100% sure I will complete this army the only snag I have is I am still waiting for 20 sling's in the post.
So pictures of the finished units enjoy.
